The shaggy-do'ed British pop sensation broke up but Chevelle was there to give one heck of a performance. One ad said "this Chevelle gives you excitement you haven't experienced since your last roller-coaster ride." It was packed with so many features that Chevy equipped it with a special anti-theft lock system, one no other manufacturer had.
Each August Chevrolet commissions its ad agency Campbell Ewald to develop a series of billboards to be displayed in the Detroit area in celebration of the Woodward Dream Cruise weekend.
